York College to Hold Retirement Seminar in March

York, Pennsylvania--York College is offering a four-part seminar in March titled "Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement." The program is designed for anyone who wants to plan and create a secure future for themselves and their families.

The seminar will cover key concepts of wise money management, including how to generate steady income, protect assets from erosion, minimize taxes and create a long-lasting retirement fund.

Classes will be held on March 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in the John Hancock Room of Manor Northeast. The program costs $79 per couple or $69 per individual. The registration fee includes a workbook, home study materials and a confidential personal financial planning session.

Participants will learn how to get the most from their investments, Social Security and retirement plans. They will also be given strategies for protecting hard-earned assets from inflation and the possible cost of long-term healthcare.
