Teams Needed for Volleyball Marathon Fundraiser

York, Pennsylvania--The Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity of York College, 98 WYCR-FM and WHTM-TV 27 will sponsor the 19th annual Betsy B.H. Cook Memorial Volleyball Marathon, which will be held at York College on April 22 from noon to 6 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Kidney Foundation of York County.
Teams interested in participating in the tournament should call the Kidney Foundation of York County at (717) 757-0604.
Each team will play for one hour between noon and 6 p.m., rain or shine. Prizes will be awarded to both individuals and teams who raise the most money. The first place winner will receive a downtown York package, which includes a night at the Yorktowne Hotel, two tickets to "Jekyll & Hyde" at the Strand Capitol Performing Arts Center and dinner for two at a local downtown restaurant.
The Volleyball Marathon is held each year during York College's Spring Weekend. Last year, participants raised $12,000 for the fight against kidney disease.
