A Job Fair and Business Fashion Show Will Be Held March 21 & 22
York, Pennsylvania--Next week, York College seniors will be able to meet with prospective employers and also learn about the latest office fashion styles. A job and internship fair will be held on March 21, and a trendy fashion show titled "Dress for Success" will be presented by local clothiers on March 22.
More than 75 employers will be represented at the York College Focus on Careers Job and Internship Fair on March 21. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Wolf Gym. Upperclassmen will be able to visit with employers in a friendly, casual environment and learn about regional and national job and internship opportunities. Participating organizations range from York International to Coca-Cola Enterprises to the U.S. Secret Service.
On March 22, three local clothiers, Talbots, The Men's Wearhouse, and Kimberly's Image Salon, will show seniors how to "Dress for Success." The presentation will introduce students to office fashion styles that are both proper and trendy. Models will sport the latest in casual and formal business attire, and students will receive discounts to participating stores. The event will be held from 5 to 6:15 p.m. in Alumni Hall, Iosue Student Union. Approximately 40 seniors are now registered for the program.
