York, Pennsylvania--The 19th annual Betsy B.H. Cook Memorial Volleyball Marathon will be held at York College on April 22 from noon to 6 p.m. The fundraiser will benefit the Kidney Foundation of York County.

This year's Volleyball Marathon is sponsored by the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity of York College (TKE), 98 WYCR-FM and WHTM-TV 27.

Teams interested in participating in the tournament should call the Kidney Foundation of York County at (717) 757-0604. Each team will play for one hour between noon and 6 p.m., rain or shine.

Prizes will be awarded to both individuals and teams who raise the most money. The first place winner will receive a downtown York package, which includes a night at the Yorktowne Hotel, two tickets to "Jekyll & Hyde" at the Strand Capitol Performing Arts Center and dinner for two at a downtown restaurant.

The Volleyball Marathon is held each year during York College's Spring Weekend. Last year, participants raised $12,000 for the fight against kidney disease.
