Thomas Wolf is New Chairman

York, Pennsylvania—Thomas W. Wolf, Ph.D., of Mount Wolf, Pa., became chairman of the York College Board of Trustees on July 1. He has been a member of the Board since 1986, and he previously served as vice chairman.
For more than 15 years Wolf has served as president of The Wolf Organization Inc., a York-based building materials retail and wholesale distribution company. He received a B.A. from Dartmouth College, a M.Phil. from the University of London and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Wolf chaired the Presidential Search Committee in 1990 that selected current York College President George W. Waldner.
Wolf replaced Dr. Benjamin Hoover, who served as chairman for the past eight years. Hoover continues to serve on the Board of Trustees.
