Beginner's Spanish Course Begins March 12

York, Pennsylvania—York College is offering an eight-week, beginner's course on Spanish conversation and culture to the general public. Spanish 101 begins March 12, and is especially designed for travelers, businesspeople, educators, and public service and health care professionals.
The classes will be held on Tuesdays at York College from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. through April 30 in McKay Hall, Room 222. The cost is $160 per person, which includes a self-study workbook.
At the conclusion of the course, participants should be able to converse in Spanish, read and understand basic Spanish, ask for directions, and be able to spell. A more advanced Spanish 102 course will be held May 7 through June 25. Participants who pre-register for both courses will save $20.
