Volleyball Marathon to Benefit the Kidney Foundation of York County

York, Pennsylvania -- The Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity of York College and 98 WYCR-FM are celebrating their sponsorship of the 20th Anniversary of the Betsy B.H. Cook Memorial Volleyball Marathon, which will be held at York College on Sunday, May 5 from noon to 6 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Kidney Foundation of York County.
Each team will play for one hour between noon and 6 p.m., rain or shine. Prizes will be awarded to both individuals and teams who raise the most money. The first place winner will receive a "Lancaster Getaway Package," which will include an overnight stay for two at the Lancaster Host Resort, 2 tickets to a performance at the American Music Theatre and dinner for two at a Lancaster Smorgasbord.

The Volleyball Marathon is held each year during York College's Spring Weekend. Last year, participants raised $12,000 for the fight against kidney disease.
