Olympic Gold Medalist, Dot Richardson, Will Sign Living the Dream After Her Lecture at York College March 14

York, Pennsylvania—Dr. Dot Richardson, two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, will sign her book, Living the Dream, in York College's Wolf Gym B, after her lecture, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14. Copies of the book will be available at the lecture for the discounted price of $15.

Richardson was a member of the 1996 and 2000 United States Olympic Softball teams, playing an integral part in both gold-medal wins. She received numerous awards and honors, including the 1997 National Athlete Awards - Female Athlete of the Year, and the 1996 United States Olympic Committee Awards - Athlete of the Year.

Aside from being an athlete and an author, Richardson is a motivational speaker, and has presented to groups such as The Republican National Convention and Coca-Cola USA. Richardson has appeared on a variety of television programs, including Late Night with David Letterman, The Today Show, and The Oprah Winfrey Show, and has been featured in magazines such as Sports Illustrated and TIME. She also serves as a corporate spokesperson for industry leaders such as Nabisco, Coca-Cola USA, Sports Illustrated for Women, and Reebok International LTD.
