The Pre-Medical Society of York College Hosts Community Health Fair at YMCA

York, Pennsylvania - The Pre-Medical Society of York College is hosting a community health fair at the York YMCA on April 27 from 11a.m. - 4 p.m. The purpose of the health fair is to provide free medical screenings to those who would otherwise not be able to afford them.

Some of the screenings being conducted at the health fair include glucose testing, blood pressure screening, stroke risk assessments, breast exams, eye exams, and physician consultations.

Organizations participating in the health fair include the York YMCA, the York City Health Bureau, Women's Heart Program, the Arthritis Foundation, Crispus Attucks, Access York, the National Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, York Family Services, Easter Seals, York Housing Department, the American Lung Association, Planned Parenthood, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Wellspan, United Cerebral Palsy, York Food Bank, and the American Diabetes Association.
