Piano Recital

York, Pennsylvania -- As part of the Candlelight Concert Series at York College of Pennsylvania, a very special piano recital will be held Sunday, November 3. Kenneth Osowski will present a varied program, which will include the works of Domenico Scarlatti, Charles Ives and Franz Schubert.
Mr. Osowski, who currently teaches piano and music appreciation at York College, is a candidate for a Doctorate of Music Appreciation degree in piano performance at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkin's University. He received a master's degree in music from the University of Nevada and a bachelor's of music from Yale University. While at Yale, Osowski was awarded the Wrexham Prize, which is given to the outstanding graduating music major. The noted musician is a member of the York College Piano Trio and has spent his last three summers at the Yellow Barn Chamber Music Festival in Putney, Vermont.
