Shades of CSI in York

York, Pennsylvania -- The popular TV shows CSI and CSI: Miami have received praise from those in the criminal forensic science field because of their real life portrayals. Now, students at York Suburban Middle School will get a chance to learn about the profession. Sherry Brown, a lecturer in forensic science at York College of Pennsylvania, will be leading six workshops at the middle school Wednesday, March 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. She'll be assisted by several York College criminal justice and science majors. Areas to be covered include crime scene evaluations, crime labs, evidence wrapping, fingerprint comparisons, and anthropology.
