Students Take Over College

York, Pennsylvania -- The work of more than 100 students at York College of Pennsylvania will soon be the focus of attention on campus. The Sixth Annual Student Scholarship Day kicks off a week of activities beginning April 28. The event is a way for students to showcase their work in all disciplines of course study. Projects are expected to come from the Science, History, Business, English, Nursing, Sport Management, and Art departments.
Oral presentations will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday April 28 in Campbell Hall. Also that day a faculty-student scholars reception will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Buechel Lounge. This year will mark the first for a student film festival. It will be held Monday beginning at 6 p.m. in DeMeester Theater. Various activities will occur throughout the week, culminating Thursday evening with the awarding of prizes.
