Music Festival

York, Pennsylvania -- Classical music will fill the air at York College of Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 15. The College's Division of Music and WITF-FM will present "The Next Generation Festival Concert," to be held in the Recital Hall beginning at 3 p.m. The program will include Beethoven's Sonata for Cello and Piano in C Major, op. 102, Number 1, Dvorak's Terzetto in C Major, op. 74, and Brahms' Quintet for Piano and Strings in F Major, op. 34.

The Artistic Director for the program is internationally known pianist Awadagin Pratt. Joining him are: Ben Breen, violin, Rachel Shapiro, viola, Sara Sant' Ambrogio, cello, and Giora Schmidt, violin.

The doors will open one hour prior to the performance. Admission is free, but tickets are required. To obtain advanced tickets, call the WITF Box Office at (717) 214-ARTS. Some tickets may be available at the door, but it is advised to order them in advance. Seating is limited.
