YORK COLLEGE MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT

York, Pennsylvania -- On Sunday, November 16, the York College Chorale and Chamber Singers will perform a free public concert in MAC Recital Hall at 3 p.m. During the concert, which is under the direction of the newly appointed Director of Choral Studies, Grace Kingsbury Muzzo, students will perform an assortment of songs. The Chorale will sing selections from the British Isles, featuring the “Serenade to the Music” by Ralph Vaughan Williams.  The Chamber Singers will perform English music from madrigals and folk songs to Beatles' tunes.

Other free public events scheduled during November are as follows: Friday, Nov. 7, Student Recital; Saturday, Nov. 8, Valerie George, Clarinet; Sunday, Nov. 9, York College Wind Symphony; Tues., Nov. 11, York College Symphony Concert; and Saturday, Nov. 15, Senior Recital, Sarah Zimmerman, Soprano. Also, the York College Jazz Ensemble will perform at 7p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13.
