Back to School at York College

York, Pennsylvania -- York College of Pennsylvania will soon be bustling with activity as the fall semester swings into action. The first day of classes is Tuesday, August 26. The College opens up with its largest enrollment ever of 5,525 students, including 1,300 incoming freshmen, also a record amount.
While we're on the subject of numbers, here are some other figures of note. There are 4,225 full-time students, 1,050 part-time students, and 250 graduate students. On the employment side of the ledger York College has approximately 450 faculty members and a total workforce of 700.
YCP offers master's programs in Business, Education, and Nursing. Tuition has increased slightly to $8,000 and for those living on campus the cost is now about $14,500. According to Barron's Best Buys in Higher Education "York College of Pennsylvania rates among the lowest priced of all private colleges in the Northeast."
