CHUCK D COMING TO YORK COLLEGE

York, Pennsylvania-- One of the original rap musicians, Chuck D, will be presenting a lecture at York College of Pennsylvania on November 12. He's the leader of the politically minded rap group Public Enemy, which exploded onto the scene in 1987 and has performed all over the world.

Chuck D stays busy. He has hosted a segment on the Fox News Channel and published a best selling autobiography, "Fight the Power." He served as national spokesman for Rock the Vote and is an unofficial spokesperson for music on the Internet.

The lecture, part of the York Entertainment Series (YES), takes place Wednesday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Wolf Gym A. It's free to York College students, faculty, staff, and alumni but there's a $5 charge for the general public. For ticket information you may call the Campus Programming Center at (717) 815-1239.
