Million Penny Project

YCP ORGANIZATIONS ARE COLLECTING MILLIONS
York, Pennsylvania Greek organizations at York College are raising money for two local charities by collecting pennies. Donation canisters for the "Million Penny Project" will be placed at local businesses in the York area through October 23. All proceeds will benefit Noah's Place and YMCA Kid's Klub.
Noah's Place is a nonprofit adult day service center dedicated to providing therapeutic services to people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. YMCA Kid's Klub is a nonprofit school-age child care program that mainly serves lower income youth.
Canisters can be found at Hungry Parrot, Issac's Deli, Suburban Bowlerama, BuyRite Beer, Marcello's, Minnich's Pharmacy, Baha Beach Club, and the York College Bookstore. Donations will also be accepted at the following locations: Pepperoni Pizza and Rutters on Grantley Road, Musso's and T-Nails Salon off of South Queen Street. The collection ends on October 23, 2003.
