Seaquist named first Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for Institutional Effectiveness

Carl Seaquist, Ph.D., Associate Dean of Academic Affairs

York College has named Carl Seaquist, Ph.D., as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for Institutional Effectiveness. He will provide support and leadership in all areas of the Academic Affairs division, and take primary leadership in data-driven academic planning and institutional assessment.

Seaquist has served as Director of Strategic Planning, Director of Budgeting, and as Director of the Critical Thinking Program at Bethel University in Tennessee. He has also served as the Associate Director of the University of Pennsylvania Writing Program, and as a lecturer at the University of Vermont.

Seaquist holds a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He received his M.A. in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin, and his B.A. in classical studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
