Nurse Managed Centers Benefit

This concert has been cancelled.

Pianist Greg Maroney will present a concert to benefit York College’s Nurse Managed Centers at 7 p.m., April 5, at the College’s DeMeester Recital Hall, Evelyn and Earle Wolf Hall. Tickets cost $20 for general admission and $10 for students and may be purchased at www.gregmaroney.com, at the door the night of the performance, or by contacting Allison Malachosky in the Department of Nursing at 717.815.1243 or amalacho@ycp.edu.

Located at six sites in the City of York, the Nurse Managed Centers are a collaborative effort of the York College Department of Nursing and the York City Housing Authority. The Housing Authority provides space for the Centers at each location, while York College students, under the guidance of a clinical faculty member, provide health information and services to economically disadvantaged and medically underserved residents.

A resident of Wellsville and registered nurse, Maroney has studied classical and jazz piano since age five and currently performs in concert as a solo pianist, playing original compositions from his eight highly acclaimed CDs. He also studied classical Indian music and the music of the Middle East and gave performances on the sitar and saz.
