An eclectic program of All-American 20th-century music for piano and clarinet will be performed by two faculty artists at 3 p.m., Feb. 24, in York College’s DeMeester Recital Hall. Michael S. Lippard from York College will play the clarinet, and Justin Badgerow from Elizabethtown College will play the piano. The event is open to the public free of charge.
Lippard and Badgerow have performed together for more than 10 years and will present Robert Muczynski’s "Time Pieces," a new piece by Michael Kaulkin titled "American Standard," and "Concertante" by Norman Dello Joio. This intriguing program of recent music features intricate textures and appealing melodies, a treat for listeners as well as the performers.
