New Assistant Dean of Development

York College has named Zane Gizzi of Elizabethtown as Assistant Dean of Development. As such, he will oversee several components of the College's fundraising efforts, including major gifts, the Annual Fund, research, development operations, and fundraising for the College's affiliated institution, York Country Day School.

“Zane brings to our institution a wealth of knowledge and a diverse background in all aspects of development, which will serve York College well,” said Dan Helwig, Dean of College Advancement.  “We’re very excited to have Zane join our team.”   

Gizzi previously served as director of gift planning at Alvernia University in Reading, as director of advancement at Lancaster Catholic High School, and as director of the annual fund at Elizabethtown College.

He earned a bachelor's degree magna cum laude and a Master of Education from Westminster College in New Wilmington. Gizzi has presented at regional and national conferences on college admissions and fundraising. He is a board member of the Susquehanna Valley Planned Giving Council and past board member of Brittany's Hope Foundation, a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, president of Leadership Berks Class of 2010, and president of the Rotary Club of Reading.
