York College faculty to present chamber music recital on Sept. 30

Several York College music faculty members will present a recital of chamber music for voice, clarinet and piano at 7:30 p.m., Sept. 30, in DeMeester Recital Hall, Evelyn and Earle Wolf Hall. The event is open to the public free of charge.


Featured musicians are Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Vocal Studies Erin Lippard, mezzo-soprano; Instructor of Clarinet and Music Theory Michael Lippard, clarinet; and Assistant Professor of Music Kenneth Osowski, piano. The eclectic program will feature a repertoire spanning several centuries, from early Romantic German literature to Modern American chamber works. Featured composers will include Mozart, Spohr, John McCabe, Alan Hovhaness, and Terence Greaves.
