Student piano and chamber music recital caps off school year
The York College Division of Music will conclude its 2015-16 schedule of performances with a Student Piano and Chamber Music recital on May 5 and a concert by the York College Community Orchestra on May 7. Both events are open to the public free of charge.
Students from the Division of Music and the York College Preparatory Community Music School will present a recital of music inspired by and evocative of the night on May 5. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in DeMeester Recital Hall, Evelyn and Earle Wolf Hall.
Directed by Zachary Levi, the York College Community Orchestra will perform at 3 p.m., May 7, in the Waldner Performing Arts Center. A full symphonic orchestra, the group includes music majors, non-music majors and musicians from York and the surrounding areas.
