Fast Company editor-in-chief to present York College Eichelberger Business Lecture on Oct. 25
The editor-in-chief of the award-winning business magazine Fast Company will present “Lessons of the World’s Most Innovative Companies” at 7 p.m., Oct. 25, in the Waldner Performing Arts Center. Robert Safian’s talk, sponsored by the Chloé Eichelberger Business Education Series, is open to the public free of charge. A question-and-answer session will follow the lecture.
Safian is also managing director of Fast Company and its digital and live-event affiliates. He oversees all editorial operations and guides the organization’s advertising, marketing, and consumer-engagement efforts. The magazine won the National Magazine Award for Magazine of the Year in 2014.
Named Editor of the Year by Adweek in 2009, Safian also served as executive editor for Time and Fortune and headed Money as its chief editor for six years.
The Chloé Eichelberger Business Education Series sponsors lectures relevant to business education through an endowment to the College from a local entrepreneur.
