Criminal Justice Major Gets Published

William "Evan" Gillespie '12, a criminal justice major and psychology and legal studies minor, recently had a paper titled "Report Writing as an Essential Tool to Investigators" published by the International Foundation for Protection Officers.

Evan is experienced in retail loss prevention and a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society; and ASIS International. He is currently working in Rehoboth Beach, Del., as a seasonal police officer.

"Evan is dedicated, never missing an opportunity to learn and grow," said Chris Hertig, assistant professor of criminal justice at York College. "He's preparing himself for the dynamic challenges ahead."
