Who uses the Test Proctoring Service?
The Learning Resource Center offers a test-proctoring service for students with disabilities who request accommodations. Please note eligibility requirements:
-
Students with disabilities who wish to use the service for accommodations are required to have documentation verifying eligibility on file in the Academic Advising Office (ADM 12) prior to scheduling use of the LRC proctoring service.
-
Exams must be scheduled in advance and be taken concurrent with the rest of the class. The LRC operates on a modified schedule over the summer. Students who do not schedule their exams in advance may not be able to take their exams in the LRC.
How do students schedule use of the Test Proctoring Service?
-
At least two days prior to the exam date, the student should schedule the use of the LRC test proctoring service by calling (815-1296) or stopping by the LRC in Humanities 01.
-
It is the student's responsibility to ask the instructor to send the exam to the LRC before the scheduled test time.
If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather, the test-proctoring service is also cancelled. The LRC will reopen when classes resume.
