We offer assistance for MAT 102 through MAT 172. The math tutors are professionals and students who are well qualified to answer your math questions and teach you problem-solving skills. The math tutors will assist math and problem-solving skills. Their goal is to help you increase your confidence in your ability to do math. Be sure to have attempted to solve your math problems yourself so you have specific questions to ask your tutor.

Click here for Math Study Skills Evaluation. On the login page for user name enter ycp and the password is msse. This online evaluation requires you to respond to 25 items regarding your math study habits. Based on your resulting score, you will be given immediate feedback on any detected math study skill problems accompanied with a personalized perscription for success.
Recommendations for study skill improvement may refer you to exact pages in Winning at Math (5th ed.) that you need to review or may direct you to an audiotape on math anxiety or strategy cards for higher math grades. Good Studying!
