My Computer (Directories / Drives)
| You can access YCP network resources after logging on. Double click on the My Computer Icon. (Usually
at the upper left of the desktop.) |

Double
clicking will open any of these directories. 3 ½ Floppy (A:) is where you open or save information on a diskette. (It does not work without one.) Hard Drive (C:) is where information is saved on the computer’s hard drive. (Do not save information to C in a YCP lab.) CD/CD ROM (D:) is where information can be read or opened from a CD. Removable Disk (E:) is where you open or save information on a Flash Drive. (It does not work without one.) Network (H:) /dragon is your personal directory (aka home drive) on the College's network. Note that it is named with your ID. Files saved here will travel to other network computers when you log in. Facdata (M:) holds folders, arranged by faculty ID, for their class use. Facdata 2 (N:) second facdata folder, same function as M: Program 1, 2, 3 (O, P, Q, R:) hold folders containing programs for class use. Notes:
