"In Career Services we interact with employers daily and they consistently state that candidates and employees with strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills get hired and excel in their organizations. The transition from student to professional includes appropriate email correspondence as well as overall communication skills, work ethic, teamwork and appearance. It’s a total package, and employers look for it.
Inappropriate correspondence, misspelled words and unprofessional conduct is just as likely to be in electronic form as hard copy or in person these days! Most employers post their openings on-line, and most students first contact with a potential employer is electronic. Therefore it is essential that students learn and implement appropriate e-communication skills if they want to land their dream internship or job."

It will also help our students become more organized and become better
