Accessing the Schmidt Library Catalog

The online catalog is the most convenient way to searching the Schmidt Library’s collection of books, reference, materials, CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes.

Our catalog is only one example of an online catalog. There are many more. To check out the other options click here.

It’s important to remember that even though some may offer other functions, but they all behave in pretty much the same way.

NOTE: Do not use the catalog to search for periodical articles. While there are records for periodical titles in the catalog, you are not able to search their contents. To do this you will need to use periodical indexes, such as EbscoHost’s Academic Search or Lexis Nexis.

The Schmidt Library Catalog

To access the Schmidt Library Catalog, go to http://www.ycp.edu.

In the yellow navigation bar along the top, choose the “Schmidt Library” Link.

Or if you’re logged into MyYCP, click on “Schmidt Library” in the “Campus Links” channel.

Both paths will lead you to the Library’s Main Page.

To access the catalog from here, you can click on the “Our Library Catalog” link in the bottom, middle of the main page. Or you can click on “Find Books” and Click on “Schmidt Library catalog.”
