Acknowledgments

The IFL 101 eText has been revised for 2007-2008.  We want to thank the many people who contribute in many ways to the ongoing evolution of this dynamic online textbook.

The IFL faculty, past and present, are constantly providing ideas and content.  Our students, past and present, also offer insight and testimonials.  Our faculty colleagues make solid contributions.

The Schmidt Library staff plays a vital role in support of IFL 101 and all library services.

President Waldner, Dean Bogart and the Board of Trustees continue their strong commitment to the role of information literacy in our core curriculum and in our society.

We appreciate the image preparation work of Yvi Works Photos, a division of the studio of former YCP student, Ivandra Adams.

We want to thank our co-author of the first edition, Steve Kirby, for his tremendous efforts in making the original eText possible.

Finally, the eText would not be possible without the creators of all the Web pages linked in all chapters.
