How do I find out about new articles?
Search Alerts for Articles
EBSCOhost
- Begin by opening EBSCOHost - ALL Databases.
- Select individual databases of interest with a checkmark, and then click continue.
- When the search screen appears, select Sign In to My EBSCOhost. (Look in the upper left corner - in the green bar.)
- Either sign in to My EBSCOhost, or create a new personal account.
- Construct a search for your topic and click the Search button.
- Once you see results, click on the blue tab labels Search History/Alerts.
- Look for a link titled Save Searches / Alerts. This will allow you to save searches or create email alerts.
Proquest Newspapers and Criminal Justice Periodical Index
- Begin by opening Proquest Newspapers or Criminal Justice Periodicals Index. .
- Create a search for the topic you want.
- Look above the results list for a Set Up Alert.
- Follow the instructions to create an email Search Alert.
