    General Questions

    Q: How to get to MRBS (Meeting Room Booking System)
    A: Faculty and staff are able to reserve IT public computer labs for class lab time.
        There are four ways to access MRBS

    • The "For Faculty" tab in MyYCP (http://www.ycp.edu) click on the link in the MRBS channel
    • The "For Employees" tab in MyYCP (http://www.ycp.edu ) click on the link in the MRBS channel
    • Directly accessing the site https://mrbs.ycp.edu/
    • Clicking the link on the IT MRBS page http://www.ycp.edu/it/1288.htm

        If you are looking for a conference room (faculty) or study room (students) in the Schmidt Library, please go to http://www.ycp.edu/library/7311.htm

    Q: Are there any policies for reserving a lab?
    A: Public computer labs may be reserved for in-lab computer instruction; they should not be used for regular instruction (lecture).

    • Rooms are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. 
    • Reservations must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. (see IT Help Desk for assistance).

      Reservation Creation

      Q: What should I do if I am not able to reserve a lab?
      A: For more assistance contact the IT Help Desk (717) 815-1559.

      Q: What labs are availible for reservation?
      A: The following labs are avalible:

      • BA100 (30 seat lab with a projector)
      • BA207 (25 seat room with a projector)
      • BA304 (26 seat lab with no projector)
      • MK135 (34 seat lab with a projector)

      Q: How can I reserve 1/2 hour slots (I.e. 1 1/2 hours)?
      A: To enter durations containing 1/2 hours type the hour and add a ".5" (i.e. 1.5 for 1 1/2 hours).

      Q: I need a lab but they're all booked. What should I do?

      Q: I need a lab but they're closed for break. What should I do?
      A:  For more assistance contact the IT Help Desk (717) 815-1559. 

      Q: How do I schedule for repeating dates?
      A: At the bottom of the reservation registration there are several options for creating a repeating reservation.
