Please contact the IT Help Desk at ithelp@ycp.edu or 717.815.1559 if you have questions or concerns with regard to computer-related issues. Here are the major online systems to which you have access as a York College student:
MyYCP
York's intranet portal, My YCP, provides single sign on access to all of our online resources - make it your home page! Inside MyYCP you will find campus and group announcements, calendars, webmail, account information, course access, and more. You must have a valid YCP user name and password to access MyYCP.
The resources available on the portal include:
- Blackboard - Blackboard is our new comprehensive online course program for professors and students to support in-person classes with tools to communicate, collaborate, post assignments, and complete exams. It will eventually replace My Courses in MyYCP. To access Blackboard, click the Blackboard icon at the top of the portal, or you can access it directly at http://blackboard.ycp.edu
- Webmail - YCP WebMail is available to current students, faculty, and staff and is accessible from any computer connected to the internet. A valid YCP network username and password are required to log in. To get to WebMail, click the WebMail icon at the top of the portal, or you can access it directly at http://mail.ycp.edu
- MyFiles - MyFiles allows users to access their H-Drive (the York College network file space assigned to each student) and the drives used by faculty to store materials for student access (facdata drives). MyFiles is available to current students, faculty, and staff, and is accessible from any computer connected to the internet. MyFiles provides users a means of uploading and downloading files to the network file space. A valid YCP network username and password are required to log in.. To access MyFiles, click the MyFiles icon at the top of the portal, or you can access it directly at http://myfiles.ycp.edu
- Inbox - Inbox is designed for electronic file submission to support My Courses in the portal. To access Inbox, on the For Students tab in the portal, click the Inbox link, or you can access Inbox directly at http://inbox.ycp.edu
- YCP Web / Banner - YCP Web provides access to the Banner student information system. This system provides access to course information, online registration, account information and online payment / deposit forms. On the For Students tab, we have developed two Banner channels, Academic Profile, and My Account to give you direct access to the Banner system without having to navigate the menus. To access YCP Web, click the YCP Web icon at the top of the portal, or you can access it directly at http://ycpweb.ycp.edu. To access YCP Web directly, you will need to know your nine-digit 902 ID number and your six-digit PIN. If you need to request your PIN, stop by the Records Office in the Miller Administration Building, First Floor. You will need your Student ID.
- Flex Card - The York College ID Card also serves as a students’ Flex Card. The Flex Card is accepted for purchases in the Bookstore, in all campus dining areas and at the Business office to pay small balances. Additionally, the card is used for photo identification, meal plans, Library sign-out, security door entry, as well as for printing and digital photocopy services, and vending machines. Many area vendors accept the Flex Card for off-campus purchases. Please visit the Flex Card page for current information.
- Pay for Print - Campus printers are networked to accept payment by the Flex Card. Please visit the Pay for Print FAQ page for details.
