In order to make your public_html folder you MUST have:
-A free copy of SSH Secure Shell for Workstations installed on your computer.
-Be connected to a network (i.e. be able to surf the web).
OR
-You can do this from any of the computer labs on campus.
For Free Download of SSH Secure Shell for Workstations, Chose "SSH Client" On the following Link: http://www.ycp.edu/it/helpfulapplications.htm.
You will want to "Save" the file to your machine and then install the program.

1. Go to Start,
Programs,
SSH Secure Shell,
Secure Shell Client  |

| 2. Click on Quick Connect |
 |
|
3. Enter YCP Host Name
(Student - "dragon.ycp.edu" & Faculty/Staff - "dragon.ycp.edu")
Enter your YCP Username & Click Connect |

4. Click "Yes" on the Host Identification Window |
 |
| 5. Type your current YCP password and click OK |
|

6. MAKING YOUR HTML PAGE
A) At the dragon%: Type "makehtml"
B) Your public_html folder should now be made.
C) At the dragon%: Type "exit".
