Several vendors maintain webpages with special pricing for the York College community. These companies are not directly affiliated with York College, but are large groups who are willing to offer software and/or hardware to our community.
York College Bookstore has a collection of software that is available at academic pricing for faculty and students. The Bookstore is a great resource for academic pricing of software and has the added advantage of being on campus and offers competitive prices. York College Bookstore.

York College has entered into an agreement with Microsoft to offer faculty, staff, and administration software for home use. Go to http://collegebuys.org/ for ordering instructions and current pricing. You will be required to fax or mail appropriate verification of employment.
While the agreement offers a significant discount for employees, "eligible faculty/staff are leasing the use of the media while their institution's Campus Agreement license is in effect and while they remain employed by the institution. You may not give the media to another person, nor may you sell the media."
