    Configuring TCP/IP Properties

    Check the window under the Configuration Tab to see if you already have:
         A. the
    Dial-up Adapter
         B. the TCP/IP protocol

    If Both the Dial-up Adapter and TCP/IP Protocol are present in the window, Then skip to step #3. If they are not present continue with step #2. *Caution - Do not Install TCP/IP twice.

    Installing the TCP/IP Protocol:
    2. <click> the Add Button.
        This is the same window as step #3. 

        A window will display, which is the Select Network Protocol Window. 
              <click> Protocol, so it is highlighted.
              <click>
    Add

        A window will display, which is the Select Network Protocol Window.

        <click> Microsoft by scrolling down the Manufacturers Box (left-hand box)
        <click> TCP/IP from the Network Protocol Box (right-hand box)
        <click> OK

    Step #3 Tailor TCP/IP Properties
    3. Go to the Network Window.
        <select> TCP/IP Dial-up Adapter, from the list. 
        <click> the Properties button.

    The TCP/IP Properties Window is displayed:
         <click> the IP Address tab
         Obtain an IP address automatically is <checked>

    4. <click> DNS Configuration tab
        Enable DNS is <checked>
        Under Host enter your username.
        Under Domain enter ycp.edu.

        Add the following DNS numbers
       
    DNS Server Search Order:
            
    192.168.101.30
             192.168.101.31

    5. <click> WINS Configuration tab
        Disable WINS Resolution is <checked>

        <click> OK button
        <click> the OK button, on the Network Window that
        reappears



    Your Machine may ask you to Restart your computer, <click> the Yes button.
