Religious Activities

The information below is a listing of religious services, organizations and personnel available to York College students, faculty and staff. The listing is meant to be a resource guide to campus religious activities (not all-inclusive). We hope that this will assist new and returning members of the York College Community.

Chaplains are available to students for counseling, religious guidance, and worship leadership. Office hours are posted on the door of their offices found on the lower level of the Student Union Office, MacDougal Lounge Room #106D or they can be contacted at the phone numbers below.

Religious Organizations at York

BROUGHER CHAPEL

The campus interfaith chapel serves as the center of worship for all faiths in the campus community. It is located on the northeastern corner of the campus just off Springettsbury Avenue. In addition to the main workship area it contains space for religious activities, meditation, meetings, counseling and appropriate events. The Catholic Chaplain has an office on the lower level of the chapel, Room #2. 

SERVICES ON CAMPUS

Catholic Mass

  • Confession, Sundays, 4:15-4:30 p.m.
  • Mass, Sundays, 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. (year round)
  • Mass, Wednesdays, 12:10 p.m. (when College is in session)
  • Holy Day Vigil - 5:10 p.m.
  • Advent and Lent - Mass at 5:10 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays

Protestant Service, Contemporary Christian Worship

  • Sundays, 7:00 p.m. (when College is in session)
