What You'll Need!

Below is a list of suggested items you'll need as YCP student.  If you forget something, you can visit always visit the campus .  Bookstore or travel to local stores such as Wal-Mart, Target, OfficeMax & Staples. Any computer related questions or setup issues please refer to York College IT

What NOT to Bring 

  • Alcoholic beverages,
  • Shot glasses or empty alcohol containers/bottles
  • Illegal drugs or paraphernalia
  • Anything that will damage the walls, such as adhesives or nails
  • Candles
  • Computers with Windows 98 or Windows ME
  • Electrical cooking appliances (hot plates, toasters, coffee pots, blenders, George Foreman Grills)
  • Electric space heaters or air conditioners
  • Lava Lamps
  • Network Hubs
  • Pets (except fish in a tank no larger than 10 gallons)
  • Refrigerator larger than 1.5 amps and/or 3.6 cubic feet
  • Microwave
  • Weapons and/or firecrackers
  • Wireless Routers
  • Airsoft guns
