St. Mary's Downs Johns Hopkins, 84-81, To Win The Provident Pride Of Maryland Men's Basketball Tournament
Camontae Griffin poured in a game-high 28 points to lead undefeated St. Mary's College (5-0) to an 84-81 victory over Johns Hopkins (3-2) in the championship game of the Provident Pride of Maryland men's basketball tournament Sunday at Stevenson University.

Capital Athletic Conference Joins With 4 Other Conferences & PIAA To Initiate START Officiating Program
The Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) and the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Associate Executive Director Robert A. Lombardi, in conjunction with four other NCAA Division II and III conferences, announced the initiation of the START program at the Pennsylvania State Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (PSAHPERD) annual convention on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008.
