Academic Departments

    Business
The Department of Business enrolls more students on the York College campus than any other program, has the most full-time faculty, and the largest number of majors offered.  We mean business!

We believe that better business education begins with strong ties to the business community.  Working with major corporations in the region, such as York International, Harley-Davidson, Glatfelter Paper and Graham Packaging, York College has built essential relationships to bond academic substance with real-world experience.

Bridging campus and community brings you tremendous advantages and vast resources while you are a student – and also when you begin and advance your career after earning your degree.

The Business Department at York College offers 11 majors and an MBA program that blend academic theory with hands-on application. Our alumni consistently remark about the practical understanding they gained to complement classroom learning – a distinct advantage when starting and advancing a career in business.
