Facility Reservations

Racquetball & Wallyball Court Reservations

Have you ever had to wait to play racquetball or wallyball? Make a reservation for a playing time before you arrive at the GSFC and never wait again for a court to open up!

Court reservations are encouraged to help provide all users with playing time.

Reservations can be made by visiting the Equipment Room in person or by calling (717) 815-6572.

Court Reservation Polices:

Any authorized GSFC participant may place a Court Reservation with a valid ID number.
Court reservations may be placed up to one week in advance, with a limit of one hour per court reservation.
Authorized users with court reservations will have priority over walk-on users at the time of their reservation.
If a Racquetball Court participant is not present within 15 minutes from the start of their court reservation; then the reservation will be forfeited and the court will be open for Free Play.
Racquetball Court participants must be at least 13 years of age to use the Racquetball Court.
Racquetball Court participants between the ages of (13 – 16) MUST be accompanied and directly supervised.

Rock Wall Reservations

YCP groups and organizations can reserve the climbing wall outside normal hours of operation. Two weeks notice is required and group size is limited to 24. Groups are responsible for the cost of staffing to facilitate the outing. Reservations are taken in 2 hour blocks (first half hour belay and safety teaching). At least a 6:1 staff to climber ratio is required.

Pricing as follows (based on two hours session):

2 climbers - $15
3 - 6 climbers - $30
7 - 12 climbers - $40
13 - 18 climbers - $50
20 - 24 climbers - $70

Reservation requests should be e-mailed to Matt Day (gday@ycp.ed) at least two weeks in advance. Requests should include: date and time desired (please provide two dates and times), number of climbers and a group contact person.

Other Facility Reservations

All facility reservations, other than the Racquetball Court, to include: classrooms, venues, and playing fields of the GSFC complex can be reserved by contacting Sue DuMars, Facilities Scheduler. All reservation requests of this matter must be made at least 2 weeks in advance (more notice required for larger reservations).
