Schedules & Dates

• The competition will take place on Tuesday, December 8^th beginning at 9:45pm.
• The finalists will shoot at halftime of the varsity basketball games on Wednesday, December 9^th.

Forfeits

• A player that fails to show for the first round of the tournament will be dropped from competition.

Equipment

• Proper basketball or athletic shoes are required.
• Basketballs will be provided for each competition.
• Participants will not be allowed to play in street clothes.

 Rules of the Game

• All shooting rounds will be 60 seconds.
• There will be 6 shooting spots worth different point values.
• A team will consist of two players. One player begins at half court with the ball, while the other player begins any place within the half court area.
• The player at half court can either dribble to any shooting spot to shoot or pass the ball to his/her teammate who will then shoot.
• Teammates MUST alternate shots.
• Each player must begin his/her shot touching the marked shooting spot.
• A player may not shoot consecutively from the same spot. If this is done, the second shot will not count.
• A player can make a maximum of 2 made lay-ups per round.
• There is no out-of-bounds & players must rebound their own shots.
• The last shot must leave the player’s hand before the horn sounds.
• A 5-point bonus is awarded for teams making at least one shot from each of the 6 shooting spots.
