Diversity at York

Unity Club

The Unity Club is a special interest organization designed to educate the student body and community about the African-American and Hispanic culture. Meetings are held each week, and the group ultimately strives to promote unity and leadership among its members. The Unity Club works with the administration to recruit and support diversity on campus and to improve campus life for all minority members of the student body. The Unity Club also receives and gives support to other neighboring colleges and universities. The group is open to all members regardless of ethnicity.

The International Students Club (I.S.C.) is a true gem when it comes to representing the diversity that often passes unnoticed on many college campuses. Boasting students from Russia, Japan, England, India, South Africa, Pakistan, and many other places around the globe. The I.S.C. demonstrates true unity through diversity. The club serves as a place where international and American students can form life-long friendships, serve the College community, and even learn about cultures and lifestyles around the world.
