Financial Aid

How To Apply For Financial Aid

1.  Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Complete the FAFSA on the Internet at www.fafsa.ed.gov. This application collects financial and other information used to calculate the Expected Family Contribution (EFC), which schools use to determine the student’s eligibility for aid. After filing, students can check on the processing status of their FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov or by calling 1.800.4FED.AID. All students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This form is available in most high school guidance offices. York College's Title IV institutional code is 003399. Out-of-state residents are also required to make application for state grant programs where money is in fact permitted to be used at a Pennsylvania college or university.

Incoming freshmen should apply by the end of February of your senior year, but not before January.

Transfer students should apply when you apply for admission to the college.
