International Applicants
Thank you for your interest in York College of Pennsylvania. As soon as ALL of the below mentioned application materials are returned to us, we will carefully review them and inform you of our decision on your admission to York College. Applications and all supporting documentation must be received no later than:
- May 1st for Fall (September) applicants
- September 1st for Spring (January) applicants

A. ACADEMIC
- A completed APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION with a $30.00 non- refundable application fee in the form of U.S. Dollar check or International Money Order. (online application free)
- An OFFICIAL copy of your academic transcripts/records showing all courses taken, examinations passed, and diplomas obtained in secondary school and universities along with a CERTIFIED ENGLISH TRANSLATION of all records.
- If intending to transfer academic credits from abroad to York College, you must provide an official credit evaluation of your college transcripts. You may contact World Education Services www.wes.org, International Education Research Foundation, Inc. www.ierf.org or Education Evaluators International, Inc. www.educei.com. B. LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
- A 300-500-word handwritten statement in English about your educational goals.
- Official results of Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) http://www.toefl.org/ OR International English Language Testing System (IELTS) http://www.ielts.org/ for English as a second language speakers OR Results of SAT http://www.collegeboard.com/ or ACT (with writing section) http://www.act.org/.
A minimum TOEFL score of 530 (paper), 200 (computer) or 72(IBT) OR IELTS score of 6 is required for admission.
C. STUDENT VISA ELIGIBILITY
- A completed YORK COLLEGE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FORM
- A completed YORK COLLEGE FINANCIAL CERTIFICATION FORM along with YORK COLLEGE AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT and supporting financial documentation .*
- If you are or have been attending High school or college in the U.S. with an F-1 visa, you must complete the YORK COLLEGE SEVIS TRANSFER FORM.
* International students must be financially independent and capable of bearing all the costs associated with attending York College of Pennsylvania as the college does not have scholarships or financial aid available to assist foreign students.
