Resident Services
What kinds of housing services are available for my child?
The Division of Student Affairs makes every effort to ensure a healthy, safe, and congenial environment for its students. When not in class, the library, or participating in an extracurricular activity, students will be tending to the day-to-day basics like doing laundry, checking mail, and enjoying a meal in the Johnson Dining Room. The Housing staff can help with arrangements for cable television, carpet sales, health services, irons and ironing boards, and vacuum cleaners.
· Telephones - Each dormitory room and each campus-owned house is equipped with a live telephone jack for students' use. Students provide their own hardware (telephones, answering machines, etc.). To place long-distance calls, students can use toll-free calling cards.
· Laundry Facilities - Each residence hall has coin-operated washers and dryers, however, the College is not responsible for any loss or damage to student belongings.
· Lounge & Conference Areas - Lounge and conference areas are available for use by resident students in the traditional residence halls. These areas are intended for quiet visiting, reading, small group meetings, television viewing, and table games. These areas may be reserved by staff members, individual students, or student organizations for workshops, lectures, programs, or small group meetings.
· Banking - A Money Access Center (MAC) machine is available on campus in the Student Union.
