 About the College
York College of Pennsylvania seeks students of all religious, geographic, and racial backgrounds. The College is a private sector, independent institution of higher education, which focuses on offering baccalaureate degree programs in the arts and sciences, business administration, education, public affairs, engineering, and nursing. Students may also enroll in courses leading to the associate degree and master's degree.  Special Events
Reflecting York College's commitment to diversity, the Multicultural Affairs office sponsors many multicultural events such as Black History Month, Hispanic HeritageMonth, Diversity Days, and many others annually. The Office of Student Activities along with the Campus Activities Board also choose a great variety of programs that address the educational, multicultural and entertaining component to campus life. The College sponsors these events because we believe they will enrich the overall educational experience. We learn from these experiences, beliefs, and perspectives that are different from our own. Education within a diverse setting helps to prepare our students to become understanding and culturally aware of other individuals different from themselves in society.
