Teach LPNs by developing educational programs for hospital nursing staff

Become a registered nurse who teaches licensed practical nurses, registered nurses and advanced practice nurses or who develops and delivers educational programs for hospital nursing staff. Work with highly qualified staff and get hundreds of clinical hours to prepare you. Nurse Educators (NEs) are licensed registered professional nurses with graduate preparation in curriculum design, teaching, evaluation, advisement, and clinical competence are examples of topics addressed in the NE course of study. Academic nursing education is a specialty area.

Upon graduation, you'll be eligible for certification as a certified nurse educator CNE by the National League for Nursing. We're accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing, and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
