RN to BS in Nursing

Take your career to the next level. Our program is designed for Registered Nurses who want to pursue their bachelor’s in science through York College’s affordable part-time or full-time program.

Work at your own pace to build on your nursing career through York College’s RN to BS in Nursing program. Designed for those who have already become Registered Nurses, our part-time or full-time program can elevate your career by opening you up to new opportunities in the workplace.

York College faculty who have worked in the field share their experience and prepare our graduates for the next stage of their careers. Combined with a flexible classroom schedule, our students can continue to work while earning a bachelor’s degree.

Our students are given the flexibility to work at their own pace, building on their existing skills to further develop their education.

Your future in Nursing

Our RN to BS graduates work for Harrisburg Hospital, Lancaster General Health, Wellspan Health, York Hospital Community Health Center other medical facilities. And we make every effort to help you advance your career with a seamless transition into our program:
  • Up to 51 credits granted for previous nursing knowledge. Take classes part-time or full-time.
  • No challenge exams required.
  • Up to 75 transfer credits accepted from AD programs or two-year schools
  • Unlimited credits accepted from baccalaureate programs
  • Credits may be earned through CLEP examinations
